Multiple Frame Photo Collage In Photoshop

Simply by using the rectangle marquee selection tool, we can create multiple frame photo collage in Photoshop. To form a picture frame, create a layer-shaped frame selection separately, then fill its border with white color, and give emboss style or drop shadow. Adjust its position on the photo using Free Transform. Then we just duplicating that frame and set each position on the photo using Free Transform. As for the background, you can choose a photo of a table or just create a blank layer and fill it with black.

Step 1: Open Image

Select File> Open, select your photo and then click Open. Create a new layer by choosing Layer> New Layer (or Shift + Ctrl + N).

For this Photoshop Collage tutorial, I'll use these images, aroni-738302, table-438422, that I downloaded from Pixabay.

Step 2: Grab the Rectangular Marquee Tool

Click the icon Rectangular Marquee Tool. In the options bar, click the icon "Subtract from selection".

Step 3: Draw a Rectangular Selection

Click on the image and then drag the selection to form the shape of a picture frame.

Then create a second selection in the first selection box.

Next, Fill the selection area with white color by choosing Edit> Fill. On the fill box, click the drop-down Use, select the white color and then click the OK button. Now you have a frame with a white border. Press Ctrl + D to remove the selection.

Step 4: Apply Bevel Emboss or Drop Shadow

Choose Layer> Layer Style> Blending Options. Check the Bevel & Emboss and then click the OK button.

Step 5: Adjust the frame position

Use Free Transform by pressing Ctrl + T (or select Edit> Free Transform). Use the mouse to adjust the Free Transform box. Press Enter when you are satisfied adjusting the position of your frame.

Step 6: Duplicate Frame Then Adjust it

Duplicate the frame layer by pressing Ctrl + J (or choose Layer> New> Layer via copy). Use Free Transform to adjust the frames.

Step 7: Erase Inside The Frame With Eraser Tool

Click the Eraser Tool icon.

To make removal easier, you can turn off the visibility option of all layers frame, then you turn on one by one while removing it.

Step 8: Make a Selection And Create a Mask

Make Selection Using the Polygonal Lasso Tool around the entire frame.

Then create a mask by choosing Layer> Layer Mask> Reveal Selection.

Step 9: Add Photo For Background

Choose File> Open to open a background photo.

Then choose Select> All, then Edit> Copy. Go back to our frame picture then select the Edit> Paste. Adjust the size and position using Free Transform. Once you have finished, you will probably also want to use File>Save As (Shift+Ctrl+S) to export the image in a more widely used format, such as JPEG, PNG, TIFF, etc.

There you have it! Multiple Frame Photo Collage Photoshop Tutorial.
